Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Opraite ("we", "our" or "platform") respects the privacy of the users of our app and services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your information when you use our mobile app and web services.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of data:

2. How We Use the Information

We use the data we collect to:

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell or trade your personal data. We only share information with essential service providers that are strictly necessary to run the platform (such as certified payment processors and secure cloud server infrastructure).

4. Data Security

We implement robust technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration or improper disclosure.

5. Content Shared by Users

Some content you publish is visible to other members of your club, such as your profile photo and friend requests. In the app you can block another player (they can no longer send you friend requests, and neither of you sees the other's photo) and report a player or a photo. Reports are reviewed by the club's administration, which can remove the photo and deactivate the member.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time:

When you confirm the request, your access to the club closes at once and your future bookings, enrolments and registrations are cancelled under the club's cancellation policy. For 30 days you can cancel the request by signing in to the app. After that, and once any money the club owes you has been returned, your personal data is erased and we send you a confirmation email.

Because the law requires it, we keep invoices, credit notes and the payment and booking records that support them for 10 years, anonymised beyond what the documents themselves carry (name and tax number). While you owe the club money, we also keep your name, one contact (email or phone), your tax number and the debt and payment records; these are anonymised once the debt is paid.

7. Your Rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise them, contact us at the email below. You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).

8. Contact

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or about how your data is handled, you can contact us by email: support@opraite.com.
